Train to teach the hottest Hydro-Pilates aqua exercise class that is built on the restorative principles of Joseph Pilates. As a form of exercise Pilates by its very nature is rehabilitative and builds strength into the body using a series of fundamental Pilates movements. During the course you will learn the advantages of using Pilates with the benefits and challenges of the properties of water. Water reduces the effect of body weight on the joints and compression forces, reduces the risk of injury or fall, and combined with the resistance of the water during all classical movements, makes it beneficial for overall body exercise and recovery from injuries. At the same time the properties of water such as drag, eddy, turbulence, buoyancy, resistance, inertia, action-reaction and more can challenge the Pilates exercises and enhance the use of the principles developing clients core strength and bringing advanced health benefits to your class members
This course will teach you how to centre, breath and control the body in the water allowing precision of movement and flow through the water. You will learn how to adapt the Pilates excises using precise breathing and muscle control with a mind body, body mind focus.
You can take this workshop as a stand alone workshop for £195 or you can take the workshop and assessment for the full level 2 fitness instructor Aqua for £395
